Some days I feel very lost but then I go outside and remember exactly why it is I moved back to Paris.

 

At the moment I am completely obsessed with artichokes, I eat them as often as possible, dipping the white flesh into mayonnaise. Yesterday I had a really important job interview, I want it so badly I don't know what to do,  I keep checking my emails and my phone constantly while keeping my fingers and toes firmly crossed.

 

Last moments of summer

The last days of warm sunshine, time to make the most of being outside. I'm still dreaming of summer holidays but as the trees put on their autumn coats I am also starting to think towards winter. 

On Sunday I made a lemon tart with homemade pastry and the juice of 7 lemons, it came out very nice, if not a little too lemony for me.

Retour à Paris

Now I am back in Paris and as I am sort of back in a "routine" I think I can start posting things here again. 

Saturday was spent in the sunshine with my boyfriend and his friend Kim (top picture) wandering around the Marais drinking beer and watching the people enjoy their Parisian Saturday.

The second photo is of a mum and daughter I spotted arguing in the street, telle mère telle fille!
