This is where I work as an assistant for an international organisation in Paris. My contract is nearly up and so my fingers are crossed that they will want to keep me!

Love, patisserie and sushi

How nice would it be to be somewhere other than work today? But, as this isn't going to happen, here are two really good links to help pass a difficult Thursday afternoon:

-Ramis Kim's blog is really great, she has a brilliant etsy shop too.

-Also (I suppose this is a 3rd link) J'aime les sushis is a manga that I am addicted to; my boyfriend bought me the first 3 volumes as a present and now I wait impatiently for the newest volume each month. You can buy them on amazon (the English version is called Mixed Vegetables!) and it is about love, patisserie and sushi- all good things!

 My friend Guillemette is really sweet, she gets mad if I don't post anything in a while " I think thats it ... 9 days... u never made me wait for that long to read ur latest update." Hehe, so cute to have a little fan.
The pictures above were taken in my parent's garden when I went home 10 days ago. The sun was actually shining in Yorkshire for once and so my mum and I could sit outside next to the lavender and read gossip magazines. We even got pedicures! This weekend my family are visiting me in Paris so I am preparing a list of things to do, as well as working of course!

The cutest origami pattern I have ever seen! I tried to do it yesterday but I got stuck on number 4! Let me know if you manage it or if you can speak Japanese!

Tomorrow is a bank holiday in France and where I work we get Friday off too! They call this extra day le pont, a bridge to make a long weekend and I personally think this is a brilliant thing! So after work I am flying home to spend 4 days with my family in England.
